Monday, 8/23:  Test Review.  We will discuss Friday’s quiz and work on a Quizizz test review.  Test topics include:

• Solving multi-step linear equations
• Solving quadratic equations using square roots
• Solving square root equations by taking squares
• Simplifying radicals
• Solving and graphing basic linear inequalities

Tuesday, 8/24:  Test #1

Wednesday, 8/25:  Solving Absolute Value equations

Thursday, 8/26:  Solving Compound Linear Equations and Inequalities

Friday, 8/27:  Solving Compound Absolute Value Inequalities

 

We will also have a second test the week of 8/30-9/3.  This is a quick turnaround, but I’d rather tests that cover smaller chunks of material.  Please keep in mind, having more tests is beneficial to one’s overall grade.  One bad test won’t hurt as much.  Also, we do replace the lowest test score with the 9 week test.
